Well June 29, 1965 saw the birth of Homer into this world, in Hyden, Kentucky and the world hasn't been the same since.
For the first 19 years I lived in and around Hyden, Kentucky. Went to Hyden Elem. School the onto LCHS (Leslie County High School) go Eagles.
And from their I moved to Seagraves, Texas West Texas about 60 miles south of Lubbock, Texas the birthplace and home of the late Buddy Holly. Lived their for 12 years. Worked For D&D Supply as a plumbers helper, so you could say I worked in Shit.
And from their I moved to Knoxville, Tn in the spring of 1996 Worked for Krogers as a night stocker.
And Got my CDL Class B drivers license and Moved to Falmouth, Kentucky, the flood captiol of the world. I'm sure everyone remembers the flood of 1997 their ,whole town was under water but recovered, until I moved to town. Worked for Rumpke of Kentucky Gary Ledered was our Ops Manger, Drove a rear-load Garbage truck at first it was great, but then got brains and moved to a Front-Loader, a big mistake. But after almost 2 years I moved on.
From their I moved to Chatsworth, Georgia. In Northwest Georgia. I couldn't stand it down there, it sure not Northern Kentucky. So Dec. 2002 I moved back to Northern Kentucky. I worked In a carpet Mill down there, low pay going nowhere job with cheap imported labor from Mexico with a company policy don't ask don't tell where you are legal or not. The guy that hired me come to find out was using his wife's Social Security Card.
Been back in Northern Kentucky for 4 months now, love it. First worked for a subcontractor at Rumpke but they (Rumpke) got rid of him and brought all his drivers over to the company and really enjoying it.
